Mexico 30m DEM (Usgs NED)
| As a part of the United States Geological Survey’s National Elevation Dataset (NED), a complete 30m DEM is offered for Mexico. This Mexico DEM is produced by the Mexican national mapping agency, INEGI. As with the U.S. portion of the NED, this DEM of Mexico is a seamless dataset with the best available raster elevation data of the entire country. EVC makes this DEM data available in its entirety, as a value-added product. |

The DEM provides essential elevation information for any GIS or mapping project over Mexico. The resolution of the DEM is 1-arcsecond, or approximately 30m.
• EVC provides this product as-is, in most common formats and projections
• Primary source material is the elevation information found on INEGI 1:50,000 scale topographic maps

• NOTE: For border areas, only Mexican territory is covered, although full coverage is offered for each geocell along the U.S. border
