EVC has created a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) of all of Greece, at 30m resolution. The DEM has been derived from extremely accurate 1:100,000 scale topographic maps, with 20m contours. Greece is a rather mountainous country, and this DEM accurately and precisely depicts its terrain.

EVC is well-known for creating world-class topographic map-based DEMs of this sort. Best of all, it is available off-the-shelf! All relevant GIS vector layers were extracted from the maps and used as inputs to the DEM creation process. NOTE: For all border tiles, only the territory of Greece is covered.
